Motivate, recognise or reward achievers with a memorable and unique incentive at Ooraminna Station Homestead.
Escape the city lights to experience the real outback – as we know it! Take advantage of the natural environment and the opportunity to gain an insight into cattle station life.
Incentive programs at Ooraminna are designed to meet the size and needs of your group. Whether that be a day long event, overnight stay or party. Whether it’s a management group of 10 or a party for 500!
Why not join us for a cattle muster….? Due to the drought sadly Cattle Musters are currently unavailable - please pray for rain for us!
Give the members of your group the opportunity to be a Jackeroo or Jillaroo for the day.
The group is collected in a coach (or tag a long 4WD group) and brought out to the Ooraminna muster site. The cattle, chopper and quad bikes are there ready for work. After lunch the group join the cattle muster with the opportunity to ride a quad bike and to see the cattle being moved from the air by helicopter. At the campfire, participants can have their hats branded with the company logo and enjoy a cup of billy tea.
After the muster, dusty and dirty, head back to Ooraminna Homestead for a well earned drink at the pub. With the beer flowing, the atmosphere is building for a great night.
If you choose to stay the night, your bed is a comfy swag around the campfire. Before closing your eyes, take in the breathtaking view of the star – studded night skies. Awake in the morning to billy tea and coffee with a fully cooked stock camp breakfast.
Dinner under the stars….?
Ooraminna Homestead is a large land area with many possible bush sites offering a canvas from which you can create an outback event as unique as your group.
There are two preferred locations for dinner functions
The Pub and Township site is a 1920’s style township built as a filmset for the movie “The Drovers Boy” and is now the backdrop for a great night under the stars.
The Homestead with verandah, patio and terrace dining have panoramic views of the Ooraminna Ranges with spectacular colours on sunset and black star studded night sky.
Make the most of the environment with a bush/ outback/hoe-down or western theme. Your delegates could arrive in denim, checked shirts and boots, or for a complete contrast, a black tie dinner under the millions of stars.
Blue gum, hay bales, hessian, enamel tableware, pannicans and hurricane lanterns set the scene for an authentic night in the outback. Together with hearty station style fare, Sal’s cattle station “talk” and a bush dance it will be a memorable night.
