Guests may choose to self drive – if you are hiring a vehicle you are required by the hire companies to hire a 4 wheel drive as you will be travelling on unsealed roads. This is an easy 30-40 minute drive. Driving instructions are provided upon receipt of your booking.

Ooraminna Homestead can return transfer guests in our comfortable 4 wheel drive from your arrival point or accommodation house in Alice Springs. Transfers to Ooraminna are $AUD130 for a single journey up to 4pax.

A helicopter transfer enables you to appreciate from the air the vastness of the outback, spectacular landforms and the land on which the cattle graze. Transfer to the helipad can be arranged from your arrival point or accommodation house in Alice Springs. While in the air you may wish to follow the ancient McDonnell Range ridgeline, view Honeymoon Gap, Simpsons Gap, Alice Springs township and surrounds. Price on enquiry.
